Meetings for entry into the league

AGM is usually in March when entries for the Summer League are submitted.
Meeting in August or September when entries for the Winter League are submitted.

  Playing Format
The Stafford Summer Darts League is 7 a side - 401 Double Start single game -
2 points for a win, 1 point for a 3-4 defeat.
The Stafford Winter Darts League is 7 a side - 401 Nomination Double Start single game -
2 points for a win, 1 point for a 3-4 defeat.
Throwing distance is 7' 6" minimum.
Individual awards for Highest Start, Highest Finish and most games won (merit) in each division.
A play off competition for all players scoring a 180 during a season.
A play off competition for all team merit winners and runners up (individual with most wins).
A team registration fee of £5 is payable with entry to each league, together with a £6 refundable bond.

Wednesday Summer League History
4th December 1956 at the Sheridan Hotel (now The Firkin) - Meeting re:-
Creation of a new Summer Darts League to compliment the existing Winter Stafford Darts League.
Present were licensees
Eric Snape, Sheridan: Joe Boffey, Gate: Bert Wilson Crown Q: Wilf Merrick, Plough: Bill Mitchell, Rifleman
and representatives
J Bates from the Cottage by the Brook and E Tomlinson from the Pheasant

9th April 1957 at the Sheridan Hotel.
12 teams formed the Ind Coope & Allsops Darts League.

Plough Browning St (AJ Business Solutions).
